B'DAY SURPRISE PLANNING - in which we experience hope, badly wrapped gifts..too much of cellotape, chocolate cake..photoshop.. irritating cabbies

What is it about surprise birthday parties thats soooo exciting?? khilnani's surprise b'day planning made me realise the kind of effort that goes into planning a surprise especially when u have:

* A hyperactive friend who persists on repeating things till u don't listen to her

* A guy who's like a silent movie

* A 17 yr old kid who only thinks about food and

* A serious...maybe too serious thinker

* Two frds who are tryin to finish their never endin project and who'll probably not get permission from their moms to attend the party

* And finally me, who's more than a half mad and the most restless soul in the party and who's lately fulfilling all the quota reqrd to enter an asylum

Add up all this and u'll get the mad hatters...along with the maddest of the lot ...so mad that ppl actually think she's sane most of the time!! Neha Khilnani!! So moving on, we finally finish the surprise planning( with me running around thinking thoughts which wud be labelled as crazy and shocking) reach the intended place 2 hrs after we were actually sposed to and to top it all, Neha comes to know abt the major part of the surprise!! Surprise, surprise...we cudnt even fool a bunch of blind dyslexic rats no matter how hard we try!

But as they say after, much delay (which included leaving behind the wimps ooops I mean the guys to catch a train, which we girls DID on our first attempt) we had a great time, amazin fun ... wherein I made a fool of myself...too much smiling and conscientious attention, but all in all Neha enjoyed it and that is what matters the most.

On the journey back I discovered one of the most fundamental and truthful truths of all time:

* The child is the father of man

* Quiet people are only faking it..actually they have A LOT to talk about....believe me, I know!!

* Talkative people are just major fools on earth who talk so much only to hide HOW QUIET they are in reality. Bunch of fakes!!

Lastly, never ever try and argue with u're elder siblings...as i mentioned b4...its all a part of a BIGGER plan..they make rules which can change with the blink of an eye.

DISCLAIMER: All characters mentioned ARE part of daily life and they most certainly bear resemblance to any person and they are NOT FICTITIOUS.

PLS: Take it with a pinch of salt or pepper or ketchup or whatever it is that suits you. :-)
